The Time Of The Doctor,
It was supposed to be his death. His last laugh. He was on his last legs. The end for the man with the blue box, and all of his adventures. All of the lives he touched and saved, and all of the companions that he traveled with would never see or hear from him again -- they would only have their memories as proof of his existence.
But, then, thanks to Clara Oswald, a miracle happened. The crack in Amelia Pond's wall, the same crack that had been following him ever since he regenerated into his Eleventh incarnation, opened in the Dalek-infested sky on the planet, Christmas. And, out pouring from its seam was golden energy, regeneration energy, that stretched into the old-and-grey Timelord's body and restored him to his younger self. With his body, mind, and spirit renewed, he saved the planet, and returned to the TARDIS with his brunette companion... preparing to regenerate.
"Now it's time for one last bow,
like all your other selves --
The Eleventh Hour is over now,
the clock is striking Twelve's."
Only, when he felt himself slipping... and he exploded with regenerative energy... the face that replaced the Eleventh Doctor's face was something strange. Something old but also something new. Something different, but something to keep him accountable. To remind him that he was the Doctor. A face above all faces. His people had given him a gift -- an extra incarnation with extra regeneration energy. Another life to live.
But, it was also one of the last lives he was to ever have, since he would come to expend most of his regeneration energy in following adventures, and would be later regarded as "too dangerous" and "too reckless", even by the standards of his own people. They thought him to be the prophesied "Hybrid", to unravel the threads and webs of Time, to break a million hearts to just rectify and heal his own. It would soon come to pass that, because of his loss and love for Clara, the Doctor would turn a blind eye to the universal rules and run away from Gallifrey a second time, only to become the caretaker of Time and Space, meet Bill Potts, and to defend the Earth once more.

The Doctor Falls,
But, after running for so long, after being tortured, after finding Gallifrey, after overcoming the Monks, after encountering the previous Master, and after nearly dying in the fight against the Cybermen, the Doctor seems dead. Really, he should have died, right then and there -- on the floor of his Type 40. However, upon returning him to the TARDIS, a newly-turned sentient oil Bill sheds her tears over his face one last time before taking her leave with Heather. Unbeknownst to her, though, in an event of fate, her tears -- her beautiful, hopeful tears -- combined with the TARDIS central matrix, were so powerful that they were enough to rejuvenate him, and allow the Doctor to continue living. He wakes up, knowing he had managed to save the children, but thinking that he lost Missy and Bill in the process. But, even amidst all of this, he does what he always does -- what he does best.
He keeps travelling.
Following the tv story of the "Time of The Doctor" and onwards into the Twelfth Doctor's tenure at the end of Series 10 "The Doctor Falls", Fish & Chips hopes to capture what would have been our hero's final travels and final incarnation. This is where we hope to explore not only the previous incarnations and companions of the Doctor and everything in between, but also the continuing adventures of the Twelfth Doctor. Please join us in the fun, chaos, hi-jinks, and adventures!
