So, I generally have ideas going but I also like to hear ideas, so if you're interested hit me up and we'll plot. For now, I'll give you a couple of ideas I'd like to play around with...
Something playing around with Haunted Mansion/Phantom Manor/Mystic Manor ride lore, either literally a mansion that's haunted in some fashion or another, or even an adventure that happens in like the 60s involving the actual ride and Imagineers (it is rumored Disneyland may actually be haunted).
I'd love to play with something in the vein of Tower of Terror, it doesn't have to be exactly like I wrote in my sample, but playing with the Twilight Zone in general just seems like it would be great fun.
I'm a big fan of classic movies like Casablanca and Arsenic and Old Lace, so maybe something playing into that era of film or a story that takes beats from classic films.
I'm also a bit of a history buff, so if you want to play around in World War Two, or turn of the century New York, or the Wild West, I'm sure we could come up with something. Doesn't even have to be an era I'm specifically knowledgeable about, I love researching.

Dear Cobra
I'm incredibly fond of Mary G. Harris Jones. In 1902 she was deemed "The Most Dangerous Woman in America" for organizing workers and families against the mine owners who ruled over them. She also stood up to President Rosevelt for his lax enforcement of child labor laws. An amazing rabble rouser, she spent a lot of time rallying people in secret meetings in the woods, dodging bullets, and going to jail.
I think that Sarah Jane would love to hear her speak, and I can think of all sorts of terrible things that could happen. Perhaps, for starters, the Mine Owners are either Aliens, or ruled over by aliens.
This vid is about 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
I do play Sarah Jane from the Classic era, but it's easy enough to tie up paradox and toss it away.
Might you be interested? It's okay if you're not.

Oh, she seeems like an interesting woman... and one hell of a stubborn Irish woman at that. Makes me half wonder what my Irish immigrant ancestors thought of her... given the era, there's a lot to play with. I mean, if we wanted to we could involve John D. Rockefeller Jr, after the Ludlow Massacre they met and that meeting led to him visiting the mines and the introduction of a lot of the reforms activists were after... so it could be that the mine owners don't realize they even have an alien plot brewing under their noses what with their questionable activities in strike breaking and generally making workers lives miserable, they're more worried about the bottom line than the lives of their workers.

NEMESIS | THE MASTER x NINTH DOCTOR |
So, I really like a lot of the ideas here, from the Haunted Mansion to something that takes beats of classic films to something a bit historical (I absolutely love the latter and throwing in timey whimey things would be very interesting). Since this is the Master, I do think the notion of a Haunted Mansion would work particularly well since it could keeping everything nice and orderly and nine could walk out of things not knowing anything he shouldn't.
Alternatively, there is always the notion of things being a bit timey whimey (and could potentially be solved by Nine simply forgetting aspects of the event or something similar).

The master does feel like a haunted mansion kind of a guy... I feel like we could borrow off of Phantom Manor's storyline, if you're familiar with the storyline of that particular attraction. If not, we could just do our own thing with a haunted house...

Hello! Here I am again to discuss the Mother Jone's plot. I'm thrilled that you have some idea of who she was, even though I forgot to include the video link here youtu.be/D8tPpfil-WsMother Jones was not actually at the Massacre at Ludlow, but that follows along well with the TARDIS rarely going EXACTLy where expected. My first thought is that the Massacre might be the climax of the story itself. Perhaps where it seems the Aliens would take over the state, the States, or the world, SJ and 9 manage it keep it down to the one bloody scuffle. I balk a little at the idea of trying to NPC Rockefeller Jr., I do think I could do a fair writing of Mother Jones of whom I am a huge fan. I think that confrontation should (could) be a brief but potent interlude of our story. I am slightly reluctant to put Rockefeller Jr. in any sort of a 'hero's' position. Although he softened a bit in the end regarding Mother Jones, he was generally unsympathetic to the average man or woman.I sort of do like the idea of the Doctor and SJ being part of forcing him to do a little better in the long run. Do you have an idea of which Aliens we should use as the foil? Or shall we invent some of our own? This is fun, thank you for your interest!

Yeah, that'd make sense, the Massacre being the climax... and my thoughts as to Jr were him coming in at like the end of the story, the Doctor and Sarah giving him a nudge to do the right thing before going off in the TARDIS, in that classic style of the Doctor's. He doesn't need to feature heavily at all beyond being referenced much of the time, it'd be hard not to reference any Rockefeller at that point in history, and he doesn't really need to be the hero beyond actually being willing to listen and make a change, even if he's simply smart enough to realize its better for his business.
And no aliens instantly come to mind, but I want to do a little more research because I need to know more about the incident, as well as Mother Jones and Rockefeller Jr to get a feel for how that all built up. I'm sure we'll hit on something, be it either original or from the universe...

So as to the story between the Master and the Doctor... I had the thought that this mansion is rather like the Winchester Mystery House, in that it has an incredibly odd layout and is generally just a very odd house. And I also thought that the Master could be doing something that the Doctor never discovers because they both wind up having to handle some other odd thing happening and the Doctor never connects that the man helping him solve the mystery is the Master... I don't know what exactly the Master could be doing, but I do know it could be interrupted by a Phantom Manor esque well... Phantom. Who has the agenda of murder, of anyone and everyone in the house.

Oooo, I really like the idea of this. I'm pretty sure I can cook up something for the Master to have been doing that gets interrupted (something that immediately comes to mind is that the Master may have not necessarily have had a scheme but been indulging in curiosity that naturally held questionable means, though perhaps he never got to the questionable means part).

I have zero knowledge on Haunted Manor (and I've seen the plot's already taken so :crylaugh:) but I saw Disneyland and Imagineers and I may or may not have gotten a bit excited at the thought of an adventure or mystery taking place there.
If that doesn't sound too appealing, I also love historical and have liked every classical film I've seen (though I'm bloody awful at both. Casablanca? Still haven't watched it. You get the idea of how bad the situation is).

Crimes have been committed by not seeing Casablanca... I'm kidding. I'm just a weirdo who literally grew up watching the film (I basically have it memorized at this point)... anyways, we can definitely play around with Disneyland and the Imagineers, there's A LOT of history. I just tend to the Haunted Mansion, its kinda my favorite... but there's a lot of other stuff, it just depends on the era you want to mess around in, because opening day Tomorrowland is totally different than present-day Tomorrowland (they literally had an exhibit that was watching paint dry presented by Monsanto. Opening day Tomorrowland was very last minute), to concepts they would later use in other parks, or just plain odd points of the parks history.

Holy Heck, you do know your stuff, Cobra. I'm going to have to do some researching on probably everything, because I've just realized my actual knowledge is actually even less than I thought, hahaha. (Didn't think that was possible, but here we are) I knooow I should really watch Casablanca soon, keeps resting on my To-See list. So far, I think my favorite classic film is Guys and Dolls (nothing quite beats Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat haha) but I've so many others I need to see, tbh. Would you like to do it on Opening Day Tomorrowland? I'm going to have to research for everything, either way, so if you wanted to choose something different then by all means, we're just here to have fun
