The Eleventh Doctor
"we're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"
✧ THE BASICS,
ALIASES. John Smith is my cross incarnation alias. Sweetie, My Love, and Time Boy are reserved to River only. Oncoming Storm, and don't forget it. I'm Raggedy Man and Mad Man in a Box to Amy Pond, I kinda am fond of that. Other randoms I have are Captain Troy Handsome of International Rescue, The Caretaker, Sherlock Holmes, Proconsul, Also Not Mum, Ceasar, Mad Monk, and Chinny. I've described myself as Space Gandalf, Ancient Amateur, The Rotmeister, and The King of Okay. Clara has called me The Chin and I've been called her boyfriend several tiimes, though don't know why. Some not so nice things I've been named are Imp fo the Pandorica, The Beast of Trenzalore, and Demon. But overall I will always be the TARDIS's Thief.
AGE. Started losing track...definitely in the 1000's...somewhere...ish.
SPECIES. Time Lord, of course.
DOB. Technically my TARDIS landing in 1996 first sooo I would say this face has been born since then, but that really has no relevance in regards to age to be honest. We time lords have to be complicated that way I suppose.
SEXUALITY. Complicated, we'll just leave it at that.
TIME OF ORIGIN. Started in 1996 ended up back accidentally 12 years later to deal with Prisoner Zero then after taking the TARDIS for a run through ended up coming back even 2 years further in the future. Yeah I got a really bad habit of not arriving on time this face...oh well. But ever since things have been fairly smooth sails, mostly.
PLACE/PLANET OF ORIGIN. Gallifrey, but Earths become a second home...sort of.
OCCUPATION. On top of being a time traveler I've done at least being a shopping assistant and a marshal, does that count?
APPEARANCE. So I'm tall, I would say...about 6 foot exactly. I guess I could say I weigh about around 160lbs/73kg give or take, but my build is definitely slim in stature. Down right sexy no? Hair, well I almost thought I was girl because my hair is longer in the front and it sits off to one side. I have green eyes, well I'd say a maybe a forested green, maybe. Either way they're a very catching feature of me I must say, that and my pronounced jawline, can't forge that. After all it lets me do those cute little smiles. I wear tweed just about everything, with a nice button up underneath. I also have a bow tie, well more like bow ties, I change them to fit whatever occasion is needed. Bow ties are cool okay. I also can be caught wearing a fex or stetson, hats are also cool.
FACE CLAIM. Matt Smith
✧ THE DEPTH,
PERSONALITY. I would like to say that I am very charismatic about things, try to see the positive in what could seem like a completely hopeless situation. I also will say I'm clever. I will admit I am very childlike...which can sometimes lead to reckless and rash behaviors. Yes I've ended up being sometimes manipulative and lied, even to those I care about. Not something I'm proud of. Yes I have self loathing issues, no ones perfect. But I do care about those around me, even if I can come off as a twit sometimes. I do tend to babble when stressed out as well. It's just something I do. What can I say I'm also impatient, I have to stay active and keep myself entertained or I just lose it. I get easily distract too and off track. But when focused I can be helpful. Often I will make stabs at my previous incarnations, because who can make better fun jest than ones self.
I like fish fingers and custard, or fish custard if you will. Oh and Jammie Dodgers, those are good too. I at first didn't like apple, bread, bacon, and carrots; but i knew that was from post regen changes. I like them now. I don't have a fond taste for wines though, not like some previous regenerations did. That's okay though, there are other things to drink and enjoy. I'm also fond of music of varying sorts, just no chicken dance please. Also odd words, they amuse me. I secretly am fond of children, they match my childlike wonder. i also have a thing for Christmas, not fully sure if its just the merriment, the presents, or just being with others, or maybe all the above. I don't like people claiming they're "just following orders", lies all lies. I don't like looking back, or endings, they're just...sad. Rounding back to self loathing, I often dislike myself, and believe I am not a good man. I've been known to do things I should regret. It's why I truly need at least one companion there. I don't like guns either, but this face is more inclined to use them to get out of situations that don't require shooting anyone. I'm really just not fond of people being cruel, and that includes myself.
BIOGRAPHY.
Once upon a time...
Well it doesn't really start like that, but always a classic opener no? It all started technically prior to this face. I had to go and be a good friend and save my old companion Donna Noble's grandfather Wilf. He was a good man, he deserved it, all those years I'd never have. Honestly if it wasn't for that, I'd not be me after all. Nearly blew up my TARDIS because of that disheveled sand shoed prat. Holding it in until the last moment, rubbish. I had even almost fell out too! Luckily I had regained some control over the TARDIS just long enough to land it in Leadworth of 1996.
The Ponds...
It was there that I met Amelia Pond, Amy for short. I had tried to help her deal with a crack in her wall, found out a Prisoner 0 escaped, but I had to go take care of my TARDIS so it wouldn't explode or anything. She had gotten in really bad shape. By the way, don't ever get food from young Amelia, she can't cook. Love her dearly, but she can't. I ended up back sadly 12 years late to return, and got knocked stupid for it too by an older Amy. She really had gotten feisty over the years I was gone. We stopped Prisoner 0 after that though and I finally finished getting through my initial regeneration with getting dressed and all, couldn't go running around in my last incarnations stuff now could I? Anyway, after that I took the TARDIS for a run to the moon and back, but came back again 2 years this time too late and learned Amy was going to get married to that Rory Williams fellow. He was going to be a Rory Pond, I could already see it. At least that's my own thoughts.
Anyway, I took Amy finally onboard the TARDIS. We saved a star whale aboard the starship UK. I got a bit angry about it, but it all turned out. We then went to the Blitz on behest of Churchill where I found out that Professor Bracewell was an imposter for the Daleks true plans, ironsides for the war...yeah right. River contacted me to help with weeping angels on the Byzantium. I did not like this adventure really at all, mostly because I don't like weeping angels. I sent them into the crack that had started forming aboard though, hoping I'd never see them again. After taking Amy home though, she tried to seduce me. That was a bit unsettling, because I found out she was supposed to be getting married. So to make up for that, I decided to get the two together and take them away on some adventuring.
We went to Venice circa 1580, and there we found out that a fish like species was wanting to throw Venice underwater. So naturally while Amy and Rory had found out more inside and with the locals, I was eventually able to get to the head of things and stop the whole thing from happening. It was so sad Rosanna Calvierri couldn't just settle for trying to fit in. After that, we ran into my not so nice self called the Dream Lord. In one fake reality we were freezing to death next to a cold star and the other Amy and Rory were living a normal life. But both realities were destroyed and we were left in the real TARDIS and I found the psychic dust that caused it. We then went to 2020 Wales, and ended up running into a fully fledged hibernating Silurian society underground. Things didn't look so hot at first, and I almost thought a war would break out, but some relations were loosely able to be set for future plans of uniting the species in some form of harmony and understanding.
Unfortunately...something terrible did happen, but not what I expected. Rory had gotten lost to one of the cracks following us. I was determined to make sure Amy would be able to one day fully remember him. Amy and I went to see Van Gogh, and helped him deal with a blind, scared, and very invisible alien that Van could only seem apparently. Sadly Van took his own life still, even though I showed him his future, but he did leave Amy a painting gift of sunflowers. On another trip Amy got trapped on the TARDIS while I went and dealt with an anomaly at Craigs place. Became his flatmate you see. Even helped him with his girl issues to boot. Oh and played football too, that's important. But what I found was a TARDIS like ship having perception itself onto the house Craig lived in. Sadly it was destroyed and i never knew who's it was. Eventually it came time round to dealing with the thing that bothered me, what had created those cracks.
Come to find out...it was me, well not me me, but my TARDIS. First it started with going back to 102 AD to meet up with River who showed me a Gogh painting of my TARDIS exploding. Not a pretty picture. Anyway, we went to Stonehenge where a whole lot of chaos went down. We found the Pandorica, found out Rory was not dead but not him really anymore, and nearly had a dozen united fleets of aliens nearly destroyed us all on top of that. They wanted me in that time locked box. Sadly for them I pulled a good one. Put Amy in the box, had Rory watch it, did a bit of time fidgery through an alternate timeline, got Amy's alternate younger self to open the box in the future, and then to top that all off after River was safe from its interior...made sure the universe would reboot with me having flung myself into it with the Pandorica, knowing I'd be forgotten in the rewrite. Yet as always I had a plan for this too. River made sure I would be remembered, and it was on their wedding day I returned.
On their honeymoon, we ended up saving a star liner ship from a world where fish swam in the sky. Had fun with a shark while there, it ate half my sonic though, I liked that sonic. Anyway, I helped a bitter man change and release a girl from her debt so she could die and so he'd become a better man. So a weird event happens after this, try and keep up. A version of myself who's nearly 200 some years older goes with River, Amy, and Rory to Lake Silencio after getting invites. There that version of self looked as though to die by a masked astronaut. After, Amy and Rory met my younger self who hadn't a clue what had just happened, oh but I'd learn quick. We had gone back to 1969 to meet a younger Canton who'd also had an older self at the lake. We learned of a little girl in an upgraded astronaut suit who had been purposefully put there, we also got our first taste of the Silence. While there facing the girl, Amy first claims she was pregnant to me, then nearly shot the little girl. Needless to say I wasn't happy about that. While I stayed at Area 51, the others spent 3 months finding as much as possible about the Silence. Once they returned, we took a recording of a Silent we managed to subdue that said "You should kill us all on site." and we were able to load that to the day of the launch of the trip to the moon.
However, after this I started getting the suspicion that something was not right. However, I didn't want to start bring this up to Amy or Rory yet. We went on another adventure where we met an alien medical program that came in the form of a siren to ship wrecked people because their frequencies were on top of each others. Black spots designated people in need and not people to die, the pirates we helped ended up taking the ship to adventure the stars, good on them. Went outside the universe and found a junkyard full of old TARDISies and parts. It was pulled together by an evil entity named House. I don't like House. The only good thing House did for me was give me a chance to see my TARDIS as a being and physically talk to her as Idris. We worked together to get my TARDIS's shell back and my old girl gave house the boot, he deserved it. It made me sad though when Idris went back to being the TARDIS though, but I knew she had to. We then went to a 22nd monastery converted to mining because of a solar tsunami. There I learned about the flesh. I ended creating one myself. This would give me an idea later. It had been hard trying to get the flesh and the humans to work together but I eventually did and a few of them survived. In the end the flesh people were going to try for equality. After this I made my concerns clear to Amy and Rory. I had suspected Amy had been an imposter, but I also found that she very much had been pregnant. I had made it my mission to find her. Rory and I went to Demons Run where we infiltrated our ways in. We were able to get Amy, but Kavorian got away with Melody Pond. I knew Amy and Rory were distraught, but I wasn't going to give up on them, nor Melody, which I learned at Demons Run who she was really to me. It was becoming clear, and I knew what I had to try and do, find Melody.
Unfortunately, I had no such luck. I ended up being forcefully summoned to come back to Earth to meet up with Amy and Rory, whom Mel came and crashed the party of. Mel I would come to find out was pre River. After being taken back in time to Hitlers Germany, she ended up regenerating. We never killed Hitler, and although the man was a cruel dictator, thank the heavens time was not rewritten. Anyway, I learn about the Tesalecta while there. I almost died too, again another of Rivers faults, but bless her I love her anyway because she sacrificed all her other regenerations to save me because she had a change of heart. Now this is where I get my clever idea from, but you'll see what, why and how eventually as I tell this. We parted ways with Amy, Rory, and I going off to take on a house call. I help a boy named George, an empathic alien who adopted the family, find his way to feeling secure that he'd be staying there with his adopted parents. We ended up getting sucked into a doll house for a while, but all things worked out in the end. Our next adventure took us to a place I really shouldn't have taken them too, Apalapucia. I almost lost Amy because she went in an opposite time stream than me and Rory. She'd managed to be there nearly over 30 years. Never again. I got her original self back though thankfully. I couldn't let her older self in though that would have damaged the TARDIS. We ended up next on a ship that had a 1980's hotel theme inside. There we learned each room had its own sets of fears. It wasn't smart to view them. We then learned there was a minotaur like creature aboard that was killing people, however, not because it wanted to. It actually wanted to die. I had to diminish Amy's faith in me in order for things to work out. I hated having to do it, but it's what had to be done. I took them home after this, believe the adventures were getting just too dangerous.
I spent time traveling after that for a while, until about 200 years to be precise. I went to visit Craig and helped him and his new baby Alfie while Sophie was away. We dealt with Cybermen, but in the end it wasn't me who was the hero to be honest, it was Craig. His love for his son was enough to stop them and destroy them. Good man he was, he gave me a hat as a thank you. That's why stetsons are now cool. But I realized, it was time to face my own demons and do what I'd been brewing for nearly 200 years plus. I had gone back to the lake like I knew I had to, but I had an ace of my sleeve. However, River didn't know and ended up causing a time degrading paradox. All times were converging to turn to eventually nothing. I was eventually able to get to River what was going on though, but the time in the paradox itself was definitely I'll say a very strange time. We married, River and I, and put things back as they should have been. Me shot, but not, and the rest of the world believing I was dead.
I had gotten too big, I had to start back at square one. So I traveled alone, removing myself as best as possible from places. Though I did spend some time with a family for a Christmas. We saved a planet of trees, how quaint no? The family even got a father back. I was pretty happy about that I won't lie. So when I met back up with Amy and Rory, we got picked up by the Daleks, go figure. They wanted our help with an asylum of theirs. While there, I find the first copy (that I don't forget) of Clara, the impossible girl. She ends up dying unfortunately and the asylum was destroyed. Amy, Rory, Rory's father named Brian, Queen Nefertiti, a big-game hunter John Riddell, and I cracked a mystery about a silurian spaceship full of dino's. I didn't give Solomon mercy for what he did. Speaking of mercy though, we next went to a town with the name on Earth. There we found a cyborg gunslinger trying to hunt down another alien who made his kind like they were. Jex in the end committed suicide, but I saved the gunslinger from doing the same through a self destruct and convinced him to protect the town.
At one point while Amy and Rory were home, I left UNIT in charge of the black cube incident for a year, what I'm impatient and I get bored, I couldn't stay. But soon enough I learned what they were, and it wasn't good. Those devices stopped a third of humanities hearts. I found the source being the Shakri, tried to get them to stop, but ended up having to reverse the pulse myself to save them and destroy the ship. Brian begged me to have them traveling again...I shouldn't have listened. But there we were on adventure again. We had eventually come to where the end of their story would be, and I didn't want it too. Rory ended up getting taken back in time to 1938 New York City. From there I knew events weren't going to get any better. We were facing weeping angels again. They tried to win by causing a paradox so large it would hopefully destroy them all. I mean...a statue of liberty angel! Come on! Ridiculous! I mean it did work...for a moment, but them Rory had to go and look at a tombstone with his name on it and get whisk away again. That broke me, but I think I practically died inside when Amy decided to leave too. I loved them both, they were my family. I was just glad River was there to watch as I wept away. She traveled with me for a while after that, but I got lost in my despair.
Retirement and the Impossible Girl...
I decided eventually to retire in the Paternoster Gangs era, not really doing much of anything as far as help. And then, there she was, Clara...another Clara. She was a governess for some children, but she had a keen sense to the strange and a desire to wonder about me and follow me about. She was what pushed me back into the game. I learned about the great intelligence through her because of the programmed snow. Simeon and the Great Intelligence stood no chance against me. However, Clara died in her attempt to help me fight it. Both times I'd met her she was determined to get my attention to fight even if it was a lost cause. Instead of shutting me down like it could have, it instead empowered me to try and find her. Another her.
I did find her again in modern day. She nearly got forever "Spoonhead" uploaded to a cloud, all because of the Great Intelligence, whom I thought I'd gotten rid of. I tried to learn about Clara's past, but there was nothing interesting to find really. We went to Akhaten where we met the Old God. We saved the girl Merry would might have died in the ceremony. It was just a parasite entity. I tried to use my long years to fed its apitite, but in the end it took Clara's leaf she had in relation to her parents that finished the entity off. The next venture, instead of going to Los Vegas, landed us in a Russian sub in 1983. There we dealt with a cranky ice warrior. We had been lucky his kind had been able to come retrieve him, otherwise he'd might have ended all the lives on that sub. I was hoping Emma Grayling in 1974 would be able to help me figure out Clara, but while there we ended up stumbling upon a pocket universe. After getting photos from Alec Palmer's camera, I finally went into the other dimension a retrieved a time traveler named Hila Tukurian. I got her back to normal space, as well another creature that had been trapped there and restore it to its mate. The mystery had been solved and rip in space time was gone.
Our next venture had us being picked up by a salvage ship, the idiots. They had damaged my TARDIS and then tried to steal parts. I eventually had tried to get them to help me save my ship and find Clara who'd got lost. A few of the became zombies of sorts from time issues with the Eye of Harmony. But Clara and I got to the engines and we sent a button back through to me and another her, because clever her that was with me had the message the button had burned into her hand already. That button with writing allowed me to rewrite the whole event by moving the TARDIS and ended up stopping the whole thing from degrading like before. Clara didn't remember anything. Another adventure had us dealing with an alien named Mr Sweets an acient leech. I ended up getting poisoned but survived, cared for by Gillyflower's daughter Ada. I got cured of course, thanks to the Paternoster Gang. We ended up foiling Mr Sweets plans and Ada's mother ended up dying at the hands of her. I felt bad for the poor blind girl, but I knew that she'd be stronger now after everything she'd been through. Because Clara's charges were blackmailing her, I ended up taking them and her to Hedgewick's World Of Wonders. However, there I ended up against cyber tech that was left over. I had to battle in a game of chess a cyber-planner. I won of course, because I'm just that clever. However, I do think it taught the kids a thing or two at least a bit I hoped.
Of course the Emperor of Galaxies tried to con Clara into staying but she shot that down. After some of my friends get kidnapped, Clara and I are forced to go face the one thing I didn't want to do. Go to my tomb on Trenzalore. However, the Great Intelligence gave me no choice. River lucky as a ghost, was able to say my name and open the tomb without anyone else hearing. The Great Intelligence was able to enter my timeline to try and destroy it. Not wanting her to, Clara did the one thing I knew deep down would happen, she'd enter my timeline too. That's how she'd split into so many lives. I had been in too much pain to stop her. By the end though, when the pain stopped I went in after her and brought her back. However, she learned things about me she never should have.
All good things come to an end...
Next thing we know we are going in to deal with UNIT and a painting called Gallifrey Falls or No More. Well I'd learn later that that wasn't the real name at all. While there we end up dealing with portals in time space and I end up back in time with my last incarnation and Elizabeth. Of course a face I didn't want to show, showed up to, my War Doctor face. We had to work together from the Tower in hopes to get Clara to find a way to help. Zygons...it had to be Zygons. Well naturally, as clever as Elizabeth was, my tenth face married her, and she was able to make sure we could get back to present day to stop an emanate future destruction of the world. It was nearly impossible to get through the Black Archives, but that painting gave us a way in. We made the humans and Zygons sit down and talk without knowing who was who. And it worked. But then there was one more thing sand shoes and I had to deal with...ourself. We went back to the point where the Moment was going to be used and we were all in about ready to help with faith we were going to do the right thing, but Clara made me see the light as always. I got a great idea to displace Gallifrey, make it look like it was destroyed, but not. So instead we rallied our other selves and made our way for Gallifrey. Had no idea if it would work, but we had to try. In the end there was still a big explosion, but hose were the Dalek fleets. See this is where I found out after my other incarnations of ten and war left that I learned from the Curator, that Gallifrey didn't fall. That painting was actually Gallifrey falls no more. I was ecstatic to think this was possible. I was hopeful to find my world one day again.
Then my time was coming to an end, I had gotten a distress from Christmas aka Trenzalore. My final stand was about to go down. Before that though I tried to pose for one hot moment as Clara's Swedish boyfriend just for the holiday of course for her family, cooked a turkey in the TARDIS and everything. But sadly once I found that I was meant to stay on Trenalore to defend Christmas, well I tried to send Clara away. I got eventually stuck there for a good few centuries, protecting the planet from invaders. And as the question I'd been warned of had been being asked for just as long, Clara finally at the end when she eventually returned for the last time, told Gallifrey who'd be asking the question "Doctor Who?" so they could return to instead grant the Doctor help, another chance. They finally obliged and I got a whole new lease on life. I destroyed the last invaders, being the Daleks. However, because of this new lease, I was forced to regenerate. And that my friends is where my story ends. With a phone call to future Clara, and me then on the TARDIS changing right in front of her. It was such a bitter sweet goodbye, but the memories before I vanished were there for one hot second all over again. I knew they'd be stories lived over and over in the minds and hearts of those who knew me, know me, and will come to know me.

SAMPLE.
Eleven sat there in his TARDIS, in his control room, pondering things of such trivial relevance. It wasn’t that he didn’t enjoy time alone, it just depended on when those alone times came and went, and whether they were on his own terms or not. If they were, then that was fine. However, if they were not, then that was a whole different story. This was one of those more not situations. It made him itchy, and quite frankly talking to himself as well as the TARDIS. Granted the TARDIS was company, but that company couldn’t quite be reciprocated the same as a physical person there. The Ponds were not there, so what was he to do. He’d really stuck his foot in things this time and now he had to go away for it.
”I really messed up this time didn’t I old girl?” he mused to the TARDIS. She whirled a sound at him. “Well you don’t have to agree! I was hoping for something a bit more inspirational here ya know!”
She just chirped a sound at him again. “Fine! Be that way! See if I care.”
He crossed his arms and just closed his eyes. He cared he just didn’t want to admit it. He sat there for a few long moments just in the silence of the TARDIS hum. It didn’t take to long for him to get that itchy feeling again and it made him shoot his eyes back open and go over to the controls.
”You think I should check on them?...No your right it would be too soon maybe too dangerous.” he stated pressing his weight up against the console before releasing it and backing away, rubbing his face wearily before continuing. “I should find something to do in the workshop, that’d help I think...yeah that’s what I’ll do.”
And with that, the Doctor walked out of the control room to go distract his mind from the Ponds.
