Dressed in her snow-white sweater, raven necklace, brown leather jacket, brown-floral mini-skirt, black hosery, and a trusted pair of matching boots, Clara Oswald felt ready for anything. And, so it was only to be expected when she strolled into the TARDIS with her best smile and glimmering eyes that projected just how excited she was to be there. It was a Wednesday, afterall. The day she always secretly looked forward to the most... better than any other day of the week. Not only because it was the day she got to see the Doctor -- which was a treat in itself -- but because it was the day she got to fly away with him. The day that she got to see wonders.
Her brown gaze fell on him as she settled at the console, light softening her curiosity as she pondered on what wonder they would see today. "So, where to? What's the plan, chin-boy?" She asked him with eagerness in her voice and mirth in her eyes.
One of her hands rested on the edge of the panel, while the other casually sported on her hip as she studied him. She couldn't help but question what was going through that big head of his. His forehead was almost as bad as his chin. Maybe someday he'd use it as a shield or something.
Now, she'd pay to see that.

The Doctor had been standing at the console reading something when she'd came in. Once her voice reached him though, he put away the book and glasses as per usual. He gave Clara a lopsided grin and raised a curious brow at her.
"Oh I don't know. Perhaps the Rings of Megylothea. Maybe a run through the asteroids of Kalkamra. We could visit the largest falls in the universe, those are always intense. Would want to make sure you got good wear though for that one, can get pretty soggy if not prepared. Or take some sort of crafty art class in zero gravity. Maybe see the moons of Mundoore." he mused. there was so many places they could go. He then repeated like a a child the last one. "Moons of Mundoore, moons....now is that a mouth full. Try saying that five times fast."
He leaned up against the console himself, giving her a bring it on sort of challenging air. She always seemed up for any task.
"What do you say? Any of those peak interest?" he asked. "Or do I have to keep naming off places."
This was how most adventures began. Choosing a destination, and then going there, or well sometimes attempting to go there at least. Not always did this work, but hey he tried. A lot. Sure he was off sometimes, well a lot of times, but you know what, he came to the conclusion that there really wasn't much choice in his choosing, and he knew it. The TARDIS was a finicky girl sometimes and she just liked doing what she wanted to sometimes.

She listened intently and giggled at his last remark about the Moons of Mondoore, finding the name interesting and finding him funny. She was tickled by how much like a kid he was, with how excited he got popping off places. He was just as bad as Artie and Angie, and, at times, she had to admit, she felt like she was a nanny to the Doctor too. But, his ever-brimming wanderlust and funny words never failed to re-awaken her own childish heart and adventurous dreams.
Her brown eyes took him in and ate him up. She raised her own brows and planted her grip on the edge of the console, mirroring his body language. He was testing her, and, Clara being who she was...well, she never one to back down from a challenge. She put her best reply forward with a small smirk tugging at the edge of her lips. "All of them."
It was a cheeky response, but one she obviously felt confident about, with her smirk turning into a devilish grin that congregated with amusement. "That's my answer." she told him, with a slight hint of teasing interlocking with flirtatious undertones."There's not a way to experience all of that in one place, is there?" She questioned, honestly curious, and a tiny bit intrigued.

"All of them!" he exclaimed with a laugh. "In one place."
He gave slow nodding of a tentative yes to taking this little challenge back of hers. There were such places to do all sorts of things in one place. It was called Paradise. Oh it was a literal place in the universe, paradise, but it was hard to find. Not even he'd seen Paradise before. But he'd heard of stories of how beautiful it was. How "anything was possible" if you could make it to Paradise. Humans often mistook it for Neverland in those old Peter Pan tales. But this was something far more impressive. At least as far as the tales he'd heard go.
"So you want everything?! All in one place." he clapped his hands together and did a quick little spin about before going to the console and starting to do a search for this mythological place of wonders. "Lets see if we can find everything in Paradise then shall we!"
After a few long moments of putting in searches and references and coordinates and what not, he finally went over to the lever and gave her a mischevious brow raise and a light smirk, "Better hold on, this is probably gonna be a very bumpy ride!"

She raised her eyebrows at that, her brown eyes glimmering in excitement. "Paradise?" So, it did seem there was a place like that. "Now, you've got my attention." Excitement tickled her insides and giddiness replaced her earlier smugness as a beaming smile enveloped her glowing features. Her slender fingers gripped the TARDIS console, and her eyes were alit with wonder as the blue box began to take off. She just adored that feeling, the feeling of adrenaline that coursed through her veins. How everything was possible and impossible and here and there, all at once. The sheer thrill of seeing the universe, the stars. The adventure of it all. She didn't think she would ever grow tired of it.
And, the TARDIS noise... even if the snogbox didn't like her, she never realized how much she looked forward to it. How much the sound of it, the magic of it... made her feel alive. Times like this, it was easy to understand why the Doctor never stopped travelling. Why he never stopped running.

The TARDIS jolted this way and that like it always did while moving along inside the time vortex. At least the elements inside were not as bad as what happened around the box outside. It was dangerous to be on the outside of the TARDIS. The only person to manage it was the last person in the universe he'd wanted to see at that time and that was Jack Harkness. The man was a good man, but as a paradox, the guy was hard as hell to be around. It made his time lord nerves just go wackadoo in nature and it left him sometimes at unease. However, over the years it had gotten better, like stepping into a deep pool of cold water. Once treading a while it didn't really matter.
Eventually the TARDIS did land with a light "thud" sound and the whir of the engine dissipated. The hard push of the vwhorping sound wasn't as strong when the engines weren't pushed to hard capacity, but this time they sort of were. So it was noticeable that the sound was gone. Yet, that was nothing new when trying to find a hard to find place that may or may not want to be located. Either way, this was going to be just as much a surprise for him as it was going to be for Clara. There were so few surprises these days. It was going to be like being a little kid in a candy store for him.
It was even evident in his eyes and the smile that grew on his lips that he was ready for a big adventure. He raised a brow at her, "Alrighty then! You ready to explore Paradise!"
He was about ready to just rush out the door and just wing it. But instead he walked over to her with some composed restraint and let his eyes drift to the doors then back to her. Grinning he walked to the door and gave only a half breathe of wait as he looked at her before opening the door. On the other side of the opening, bright light streamed in, making it super hard to see anything at first.

An excited smile played on her lips and her brown gaze glowed. "We're going to actual paradise?" she asked him in a bit of a squeal, hardly believing the words coming out of her mouth. Nevermind the situation layed at her feet. She really thought she had challenged him, given him an exam or test to pass. But, here he was, doing the impossible thing again. It seemed like he had it all figured out. Like he always did. He was the Doctor, afterall, even if he was kind of goofy and lanky and always wearing silly bowties.
But, if he really had the universe all figured out, then why did she sometimes catch him staring at her like she was some sort of mystery to him? Like a puzzle he just couldn't find all the pieces to, or a case he couldn't solve. Somehow, the nanny-turned-time-traveler seemed just as much as a mystery to him as he was to her. Though, she was learning. And, she was loving it.
It was a win-win. An Os-win.
She took her petite place beside him, sharing an excited glance before stepping out of the opened TARDIS doors. She could barely contain herself. So many ideas rushing through her heads -- and, oh, so many questions.
Her brown eyes surveyed her new surroundings as her feet touched the new surface -- a grassy ground, with what appeared to be twilight skies. Around her drifted ethereal lights in different colors. Pink, yellow, light blue, lavender. They floated in the air like fireflies, and her chocolate orbs were alit with the wonder of it all. She hadn't been sure what she had expected the perfect place to be like... but she had never imagined it to be quite as magical as this. In her ear, there was the beginning of a slight hum. A nice song, though it somehow felt far-away. Her eyebrows furrowed, her lips turning into a confused smile -- her interest piqued.
She pointed to the sky. "Is that... music?" she asked the Doctor, looking at him in surprise, then searching around her for the source. It was both everywhere and nowhere all at once.
Man, he never ceased to amaze her, did he?

"I do believe so." he stated, himself in practical wonder. This was even a first for him. So Clara wasn't alone on the 'what the hell is this place' game. No this was exciting and fresh and wonderful and...apparently damn catchy as far as that sound went. What was that blissful noise he and Clara were hearing? He wanted to know. He wanted now to rush forth and explore like a five year old at a Chucky Cheese restaurant. The sounds, the aroma, the air even; it all just sort of made him want to burst with energy.
"Well what are we waiting for?!" he stated grabbing her hand. "This place isn't going to explore itself for us! Let's go!"
He wanted to get closer to all the strange wonders they were seeing and experiencing. He wanted to try and gauge where they might be to the stars. Just anything and everything all at once.
"Amazing isn't it?" he said excitedly. His own breathe catching almost like a child in wonder. So far if this was Paradise, he was sure has hell all in.
