Hey everyone! I'm Seth. I once came across roleplay accounts accidentally on a site called bebo, and that's how I discovered the world of RPG. I've been roleplaying on and off for years, trying to find the perfect balance between posting and rl duties, which I still haven't found quite yet, but I think I'm getting better at it. I took a very long rp hiatus of around three years but I've realized I can have the best of both worlds if I just stick to playing the characters that speak to me the most and resist the urge to have 1298172987 threads all at once haha.
When I was a child, my favorite type of game was always the one where I'd sit with a bunch of other kids and we'd all come up with this story of pirates, or fairytales, or magic, and we'd all play different roles and improvise on the rest of story together till out parents took us back home to do our chores. And I think that's why I love roleplaying so much. Deep down I'm the same kid who wants to play, be all these different people that I imagine in my head, live all these amazing stories that people experience only through books.
Doctor Who was a huge part of my teenage years and a great deal of my 20s. Ten was my first Doctor, and I was so sad to see RTD and Tennant leave. I was so sure that he would forever be my Doctor! But I decided to give Eleven a go, and I loved him. I loved his era and the crazy plotlines of Amy, Rory, River, Clara and Eleven, and every time anyone would ask me I'd say Eleven was my Doctor. Then Capaldi came, and he absolutely stole my heart.
Other things and shows I love or have been a huge part of my life include Disney, MCU, Sherlock, Rdj's Sherlock Holmes, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars (though I've yet to see the first 6 films; blasphemy, I know), Harry Potter, the Big Bang Theory, Modern Family, and I've been recently digging apple shows like 'Defending Jacob' and 'For All Mankind' (still on ep. 2 of the first one though, so no spoilers ty haha). I also like historical or historical fantasy --or anything fairytale-esque as long as I'm allowed to steer away from mature content (lol I'm so not your guy for any type of mature content).
But yeah, that's why I am so excited and honored to be a member of F&C. I feel like my writing style and preferences really vibe with this site, and I'm so excited to get to meet you all! Allons-y!
