Hello, all! I'm Scott, and it's an absolute pleasure to join you all here playing the Twelfth Doctor.
I'm originally from Wisconsin but am now living in Utah, and I am a technical support specialist for a company that sells digital menu signage. So, if you go to a restaurant and see big, bright digital screens showing menus, odds are we put them up there. 
I love creative writing, reading, gaming on my PC, immersing myself in music of almost all kinds, and above all, I am a hardcore scifi/fantasy nerd, with an emphasis on Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, and - of course - Doctor Who.
The Twelfth Doctor quickly became my favorite of the "modern" Doctors, and much of that is owed to Peter Capaldi's excellent performance. I never thought he could so seamlessly transition from roles like that of the wildly profane Malcolm Tucker in the Thick of It to the Doctor, but he pulled it off with flying colors. I loved his grumpy, brutally honest demeanor that encased the caring, compassionate and quirky soul of the Doctor we all know and love, so I couldn't help but be drawn to roleplay him.
I've been roleplaying for over ten years in multiple fandoms, from Trek to Star Wars to Marvel and DC to Firefly, and I still have blogs on Tumblr with active characters, including Twelve. If you'd like, I can share links to those pages so you can check out my writing there.

Ever since I joined every time someone shared something with Capaldi in it, in the discord me and Dreams (our Admin and Clara) have both said that we really needed a 12 As a PC gamer myself, I must ask which games you are playing at the moment and which are your favorites? Right now, I'm neck deep in Cyberpunk 2077, bugs and all. I absolutely love it. I'm also into Sims 4, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (even though I kinda suck at it), Fallout '76, and my favorite video game franchise of all, the Mass Effect games.

Oooh good games! I have finished the story of cyberpunk, but I'm still going back sometimes to do more side quests. And I hope I can try for different endings, because the one I got was bad xD I love the sims, even though 4 is a bit bland at the moment, it's just too easy. I preferred sims 2, but it's hard to go back to that. I'd love a sims 2 with sims 4 graphics, that would be awesome! I only just got Star wars Battlefront 2 from Epic, but I have yet to try it. I do like my shooters though, so I hope I'll enjoy it. Fallout 76 I have played a tiny bit, but never really gotten that into it. The Mass Effect games though <3 Love them. You must be excited for the remaster too? |

I'm very late to this thread but welcome to the board! I also love Mass Effect (and Dragon Age, all things considered, I'm BioWare trash) and I'm from (and still living in) Wisconsin too!
