They were big, very big. In fact they were so big, that one could walk right inside them and make roost there if they wanted to. It was amazing, and amusing all at once. Crustaceans that were as big a tiny house! Maybe bigger! Oh the things places you could go, the tings you could see in the universe! And this one sure ate cake on it. The Doctor amused himself with walking inside some to check out their antiquity and stability. Whether they had holes in them or not. Imagine if it wasn't just spiral shells or conch shells! What if there were clam shells that big too! Imagine the size of the pearl that baby would have! It would be brilliant! And worth a lot on a market. Oh River would have a field day with that. that's for sure. He smiled as he took in the intricacies of the inside of the shell. Touching its smooth surfaces as he went about. He was going to have to take one of these specimens back to the TARDIS not just for decor, but to actually see what its history or life might have been. There was plenty to nab there that was left over from other sea animals.
Their were probably star fish that could bite or suck his face off. Now wouldn't it be ironic if all the bigger animals on earth were smaller here while the crustaceans were all big. That would be something. Perhaps this could have on the other hand been a primordial historic place of where a form of star whales may have come from, after all evolution! So many possibilities. Who knew right? In any case, The Doctor made his way back out of the shell to look at the sea, the waves would have to be powerful to have swept up the shells as such, though they seemed light, so perhaps they floated to the top. That or these ones could crawl out of the sea, but couldn't last long on land. The thoughts swarmed his mind like a hive of bees. He wanted more. He needed more. He stared out at the water peacefully. It was such lovely weather to go out on the beach to see such a sight. The wind was blowing and it whipped his hair about, but he didn't care. he was having the time of his life. Which meant he was going to explore more.
The water was a Caribbean blue which was nice. Perfect for seeing into the depths. Though he wasn't so sure he was ready to go explore the bottom of the sea just yet. No he would stick to the shore and see what wonders could befall him before he went anywhere else. After all there was plenty along the shoreline to view. even if he and his TARDIS were a bit of a stark size in comparison to the rest of the beach. They literally were dwarfed by the sheer size. It didn't matter though. It wasn't going to stop him from exploring about. In fact all it did was urge him on like a small child in a children's museum. And of course as always he wanted to touch everything. Maybe even lick it to just see what info he could get off it.
