And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

Tobias was admittedly getting a bit sick of all the trouble he seemed to be running into. He had wanted to stay in the 21st century because it was boring and it seemed to have drastically less of the type of trouble that existed in his own time. He didn't want to deal with all the running and people looking to use him as scrap parts. Sitting down and reading seemed far more preferable, even if he couldn't exactly enjoy the finer aspects that most humans seemed to enjoy when doing so.
Unfortunately, he still couldn't do that. Money was a thing after all and he needed that. As a result, he had turned back to looking for work, deciding to be more careful about. No new names seemed good, just people he was familiar with. That seemed like a great way to not end up running for his life in an already dangerous alleyway.
Which was how he had ended up being the getaway driver. He had, quite wisely in his own opinion, not mentioned he did not have a license nor had any idea how to drive. It probably wasn't that hard, right? He couldn't imagine there was much of a difference in driving 21st century cars and twenty-ninth century ones. Theirs were just more archaic! So, it should naturally be easier.
Absently, he tapped a finger against the wheel, waiting for the others, hardly figuring that his day might take a strange turn.
